🎭 Libra Season Wasn’t for the Weak

I turned twenty-six and somewhere between gratitude and gravity, everything shifted…

First, a massive thank-you to my friend from The Sanctuary, our Discord fam.

He let me tag along for his birthday, and honestly, it was the kind of win my mental health had been begging for.

Libra gang , we’re all about balance… until balance humbles you.

Because right after that?

Life came swinging.

I went from celebrating to sitting with a dislocated ankle, navigating sassy men energy, and watching my friend group implode… all while my hormones dragged me down a hallway of hell.

My eyes bruised. My iron dropped. My patience wore thin.

And for the first time in a long time, I just… stopped.

☁️ The Quiet Reset

I’ve always been a “keep producing through the pain” kind of girl.

But this time, I let myself log out.

I prioritized my health. My W-2. My sanity.

Because without those things, there is no Mona Leafah.

Growing up teaches you that progress doesn’t always look like motion.

Sometimes it’s the stillness.

Sometimes it’s canceling plans and choosing quiet.

Sometimes it’s saying no to “consistency” just to remember what peace sounds like.

🌿 Things Are Looking Up Again

🩶 I landed a new client prospect.

Laughing with Lucy is very exciting opportunity, and I’m honestly afraid I’m going to mess this up somehow…

🩶 I relocated my own ankle (10/10 don’t recommend).

I logged into my previous insurance, saw zero coverage and just… cried.

🩶 We launched a new community server.

Join us, we’re trying to recalibrate and align with more people like us. Movers, hustlers, brainstormers, makers, NOT just people who smoke.

🩶 My iron levels are finally leveling out.

I’m coming out with a cycle bible for my highly productive women, and this will be something even my male friends can use as a gift to their partners

And at work?

Our THC sodas finally launched and it’s wild being part of something so innovative.

🪞 The Mirror Moment

It’s been almost a month since my last post, my last podcast, and my last deep breath that wasn’t layered in guilt.

But in that stillness, I realized:

Healing doesn’t always come with momentum.

Sometimes it’s just a decision …. to stop being cruel to yourself.

And then I heard this:

“You can forgive yourself for the choices you made when you didn’t have better options.”

That’s the one.

That’s the quote that knocked the air back into me.

Because maybe growing up isn’t about getting it right…

it’s about making peace with the versions of you who didn’t know better, but still tried.
